Maria Island, off the East Coast of Tasmania is an island of natural beauty, peace and adventure with a touch of indulgence only we know how to deliver.

You'll camp glamourously in the grounds of a historical farmhouse followed by one night in the comfortable converted Penitentiary building in Darlington.

Everything has been thought of, from deluxe mattresses and pillows for a good nights sleep to a spa inspired hot self-body wash after a beautiful days walking.

Indulge in gourmet food, cheese selections and fine Tasmanian wines from the vineyards of Josef Chromy and 42 Degrees South to name a few.

Come and enjoy the complete Maria Island getaway experience. We may not be the original Maria Island walking tour, but we are the most knowledgeable and best value by far. Our focus is you!

This tour options combines a spectacular scenic flight over Port Arthur, the Tasman & Freycinet Peninsula's and Wineglass Bay then landing on Maria Island, with a 4 day guided walking tour through a breathtaking landscape.

Your tour starts by flying over historic Port Arthur, then the spectacular sheer cliffs of Tasman Island. From there we head north over Maria Island, Freycinet Peninsula and up to Wineglass Bay before heading back south to land on Maria Island. This is a fantastic introduction to an incredible walk.

Maria Island lies 10km off the east coast of Tasmania, Australia and we access it by an amazing private charter flight. Maria is a peaceful and relaxing place. There are no vehicles, just beautiful scenery, deserted beaches and abundant wildlife. To add to the beauty of the island, she has an intriguing history. After the first explorers, came the whalers and sealers and later the island was a convict station.
